A very special Italian Empire period (early 19th century) walnut overmantel mirror with delicate scrolling inlaid brass decoration and gilt sight edge. The two, free-standing columns either side of the mirror have detailed brass decoration and the original mercury glass is in excellent, sparkling condition.
